summer house - what do you use yours for?

we're buying a house and have an option of the summer house but wondering what you use yours for. current owners store garden stuff instead of in the garage so feel perhaps it ends up being a bit of a white elephant.

escaping the family,

and spare guest room when everyone descends at once, but ours is has a bathroom,

It also gets used for the children band practice as it is so well insulated you can't hear the drums when they really get going,

I can't imagine living without it now.

we spent a lot of time soundproofing ours, as well as insulating it, so it's almost a passive house, you don't have to heat it.

well worth it as if you are in it you aren't disturbed by the outside world, and those who choose to use the space for band practice cannot be heard by any neighbours.

love the summer house, makes for a peaceful family life.
