Please help me save my peas!

Hello,
I've been away for a week or so and in my absence my peas have shot up way beyond the supports I had put in for them (bits of pruned branches). They're now a big tangled horrific mess and I'm a bit uncertain about how to best to sort them out.
Should I just buy some canes and put those in for supports? Or would wire round the outside of the bed be best?
Also, does there come a point when you should pinch them out or just let them grow as tall as they like?
(First year growing peas if you couldn't tell Blush)
Thank you!

mine were flattened by the gales this morning. I wouldnt worry too much, I think trying to seperate them will do more harm. Put in some more canes and keep picking.. sow some more if you have room, I throw in a few every few weeks. I have put way too many in one pot this year. Got carried away. I'm no expert - but am loving giving it a go.
