Please help identify this weed!

It isn't pulling up & has leaves bout 15cm by 10cm.

Can we have a bit more info please!

What are the leaves like? Smooth? hairy? dark? pale? Smooth-edged or serrated? Do they grow from a rosette shape at ground level or from a big stalk? Any flowers? Maybe take a photo and put it on your profile?

They are growing from a stalk & are dark green, sort of rough texture. Not quite sure how to post a picture on my profile!!

Just thought if someone was able to offer a few suggestions I could google them to compare!!!

Think you could be right looking at the pictures- would leaves get quite big?

And would it be hard to pull up? I have a stoned area which has loads of weeds, the massive dandelions cam up easily but I couldn't pull this up.

Looking more closely I think it is definitely dock - can stop panicking about it maybe being hybrid knotweed now!!! Thank you very much for your help!!!

Yes leaves get pretty big and yes roots go deep - you'd need to dig it out if you can.

No flowers yet Morebeta just leaves & has grown about a foot or so tall.

Would weedkiller work?

yes it would

Roundup weedkiller deals with most things.

Put it on in the morning with hot still weather like I did today and the weed is black by tea time.
