We have masses of bluebells and have always had lots of white ones in amongst the blue but this year we have pink bluebells which I've never seen before. Is it to do with the soil?

No idea if it is normal but I've spotted a few in our garden

I suspect it's the same phenomenon as pink forget me nots.

Yes it does happen sometimes, not to do with soil though, I can't remember what the cause is.

We have some too!

I want to know where my aquilegia has gone in other news. We usually have loads of the stuff. This year, none. And our daffodils didn't flower either. I blame David Cameron.

Probably a hybrid. Think it's more common with Spanish bluebells. I've just pulled ours all up, they've died off now.

We have masses of the Spanish hybrid type. Lots more pink ones this year.
