White Cocade Rose - Not Flowering :(

I planted a White Cocade climbing rose a couple of years ago, it's growing really well, but has never flowered, there doesn't seem to be any buds on it at all. What could be problem be? It's in a sunny spot and trained against a fence. Any suggestions gratefully received. TIA

Couple of things to consider:
*Feed with rose food in April and then again in June/after first flush of flowers.

  • Prune at the right time. I am not familiar with this rose but if it is a climber it is pruned in late autumn/winter. For details see here *When you tie in a climber don't tie it in as a vertical stem but try to create a framework of horizontal branches as these will produce the flowering sideshoots
  • Is it getting enough water? Should be planted about a foot or more away from the fence/wall.

Hope this helps
