We've just moved house and I now have a great bit west-facing window sill halfway up the stairs and for the first time in ages somewhere to have houseplants where no one can eat them/pull the leaves off/throw them on the floor/drive toy diggers through. I've had some seedlings there for the past few weeks but they are all outside now hardening off. What can I put there now that will do well at this time of year (either seeds or plants)? It gets a lot of light and will probably be quite warm if we ever get any good weather.
