Recommend a good mower?

We have an old electric rotary qualcast that is probably blunt. Longer grass or damp grass clogs it and my hubby loses his rag we only have a small - medium lawn and don't want to spend the earth - any recommendations ?

Check Which magazines for recommendations or Amazon. Longer grass or wet grass will clog any mower suitable for a small to medium sized lawn.

we got this one recently. Have only used it once but it was very lightweight and did a good job.

How much do you want to spend? Even for a small garden i would prefer petrol self propeling one. These start at around £180 but at the moment argos have a Challenge Xtreme on sale at £120. I had a look at it when buying my new mower last month and the reviews looked good for the price. I went for a different model in the end as i though it a bit small for my size garden.
