I can no longer cope with my v cheap push along that gets stuck every other push. Grrrrr
Don't fancy petrol in the shed. Do I go electric? ?
I am happy to spend as we have a fair sized lawn and a long summer! Well ish as I live in Scotland!
Can anyone help?

Also how do I trim the edges of lawn neatly. Can I buy and use a hand sized electric strimmer?

Thanks!

If you have a large lawn, an electric mower is not practical unless to talk the cordless variety. Read up on the Bosch Rotak cordless ones, Amazon has lots of reviews. I have moved to one as I could no longer cope with lifting petrol mowers in and out of my van. Would never go back to petrol.

Re edges, I find goold old-fashioned edging shears the best. If your edges are very uneven, you need to cut a new lawn edge with a half moon iron. Then just maintain with edging shears. They need sharpening ever so often but will give perfect results.

Get a PROPER pushmower
we adore ours
www.husqvarna.com/uk/products/lawn-mowers/64/

the kids can mow the lawn as when they stop it stops
can be used anywhere
can be used in the rain
no running costs
leaves the lawn looking like velvet

I'm lusting after a new bosch cordless one, but my grass area is fairly tiny. For edges I have a bosch edging thingy (hmm, I don;t work for them, honest), which is incredibly quick to use like this (but it was cheaper at a flower show).
