indoor tomato plants - watering

we have some tomato plants indoors which are huge and flowering and smelling lovely.
we are going away for a week in may.
how can we keep them hydrated for hat time?

put them in the bath with a bit of water in the bottom & the plug in?

(if you do this, make damn sure the tap isn't dripping. we did this once when away for 2 weeks & came back to a bath full of earthy water & drowned plants)

Get a 2litre plastic bottle, fill with water and pierce a couple of holes in the lid. Screw on lid and stck it into the soil. Water should leech out as needed.

bath has no window, so wouldn't work.
would 2 liters be enough for a week? (2 plants per pot)

update: in the end we put both plants into the baby bathtub and filled if halfway up.
all plants thrived and are huge with many flowers.
