Dead Nettles?

Apart from digging them up..how can I selectively kill all the baby nettle plans that are scattered throughout my borders?
I'm not a big fan of chamicals, but happy to use them judiciously if needed....
Thanks

Digging is best, you can spray in fine weather or if you are in no rush cover with polythene (weighed down with stones or pegged). It will deprive the plants of sunlight and will kill them or at least weaken them so they are more easily dug up.

Thanks, I don't mind them being overrun by forget-me-nots but not nettles..especially when the Dcs are in and out after stray footballs!

Get a hoe, make sure it's sharp, or sharpen if if not, and work your way around.
A very quick, easy and eco way to clean around the plants you want.
