What should I be doing in the garden this week?

It's warm early and I've done loads of clearing up but what pays dividends in the summer by doing it now?

I really need a "fly lady" for the garden, what are we all doing this week?

Marking my place! I have been unable to garden for about five months now due to a crap pregnancy and now I can bend again I don't really know where to start.

Yesterday I planted five rose bushes and chopped back a few perennials that looked like they probably needed hopping back about five months ago... What next?!?

Am still raking up leaves! and becoming very attached to my garden claw :) I have hacked pruned larger bushes quite a bit. Bought a lawn edging tool the other day so will play with use that this weekend hopefully! I guess just prepping the soil, keeping it weedfree, and maybe planning where you will put bedding plants is the extent of what you can do atm?

pruning lots of shrubs, putting compost/manure on border, weed and feed on the lawn (if its in a state like mine).

I like the sound of a garden claw!
