Right now that xmas is over i can start planning my garden for summer 06. I am going to be hosting my mum and dads anniversary tea and dss bday party so it all has to look good for may and july and all the other months-
My initial thought is for lots and lots of flowers, fragant if possible, am thinking of red as the main colour with the odd bit of purple
thinking of dahlias and lillies and some red marigolds, anyone got any ideas of whats worked well for them or whats nit worked?, thanks for reading cheers

Hi Rocker1971! I have been sober several times since Thursday! anyway, I have a few thoughts for what its worth:-
Red poppies are cheap to grow from seed. Red salivias are reliable and long flowering bedding plants as are red geraniums.
I have grown dwarf sunflowers in shades of red before. very easy.
I hope you get other ideas soon from other mnetters.
