Christmas present ideas

A very last minute question. I have bought MIL and FIL a goat for xmas (virtual oxfam one, not real) and wanted to also get them a REAL plant for their garden.

Looking for suggestions. I bought them an olive tree once and that went down v well - they are frequent visitors to israiel and liked the link.

Any bright ideas oh green fingered ones?

A winter clematis?

Ok - is that something which flowers now then?

If you want something that's flowering now you could try a Daphne Odora , it's a very pretty, highly scented shrub that starts flowering in December or January.
