DH bought me a beautiful phaeleonopsis for our wedding anniversary in June. It was not an expensive one, came from Sainsbury's.
Anniversary was on June 6th...and it is still holding all of its flowers and has produced around 3 new blooms as well. Is that a record or something?! It's definitely a record for me, usually the orchids I buy lose their flowers after 6 weeks.
Am mostly looking after it via benign neglect...a bit of lukewarm water on saturday mornings and plenty of north-facing sunlight.
Any other tips on how to keep it going for even longer?
