last week we bought a bird table, dd1 very excited and has her breakfast at the window watching for birds

unfortunately the bird table has been there a week and only one blackbird visits each day

the seed dispenser is still bulging and dd is getting worried "where are all the birdies?"

how can i encourage them a bit?

not exactly gardening, but hope you can help

It takes a couple of weeks for the word to get round! Honest. They aren't used to your garden as a place for food yet. That blackbird will spread the word in one or two weeks.

bacon ,,also robins like warm oats honest and you can get things called "fat balls" which is fat seeds etc they will def find your table soon

dont put bacon out it will encourage rats

a fat ball is excellent at this time of year
