weed killer

Ok know considering this is agardening topic but before cna garden I have a lawn of well weeds and mean just weeds .Am planning on weedkiller then reseeding .

any reccomendations ? needs tackle ground elder , nettles , thistles and stuff i not even identfied

Glyphosate (Roundup) should kill those weeds. Spray the area, wait about 5 weeks then respray any which were missed.
You can burn the dead debris then the ground will be ready for digging.
