we acquired a bay tree (tbh it was a stick with 2 leaves on at the time) years ago and after repotting it has flourished. I am not the world's most accomplished gardener and tend to leave plants to get on with it. In the last couple of weeks the leaves have looked very sickly, curling up and drooping, not a vibrant green any more. I have just repotted the tree again into a much larger pot with soil based compost for mature plants, thinking maybe it had slurped all the nutrients out of the pot it was in. Was it just pot bound or should I be doing anything else? Please help, I really don't want to lose it! Thank you!
