Ask at the garden centre. sorry dont know but happy to bump.

I know the stuff but I can't remember what it's called. I'm thinking of the crystals which you smear on the stump then you cover in plastic bag for several hours/ days.
Deep root? Or is that just weeds. Will think...

SoupDragon · 29/11/2005 17:37

Root Out or Deep Root. One or the other

cupcakesbakingonanopenfire · 29/11/2005 17:50

yes, it is Deep Root. \link{http://www.crocus.co.uk/search/results/?ContentType=Product_Card&ClassID=200103&CategoryID=\here).
I think you might be able to use it at this time of year so long as you cover with plastic bag to keep the rain off.

Hi Take some grit from you rnearest grit bucket and put this on it, this really works.

inameeting · 14/12/2005 20:00

Really? is it the salt that does it? How long would it take?

Hi A couple of treatments should work. Dont know if it is the salt or not but it definately works. Try it maybe every second day for a week and see what happens, combined with the frost you should get rid of it.
