Fox's den - help!

maggiethecat · 16/06/2011 11:12

A fox it seems has made it's den in our front garden - the hedges make a perfect habitat it seems.

Is there anything I can use to keep it away (other than a shotgun!) and how do I get rid of the awful stench of fox urine???

We use biological powder and dettol mixed to make a spray. We use it on the farm it sometimes works, for the urine smell. And if you live in an urban area and have small children, I think you can ring the council for removal if you have young children or if that doesn't work ring the RSPA i think thats the animal charity they may work. Good luck

I don't think it's their permanent habitat iyswim but I certainly think they do hang out there now and again.

Where would I get the biological powder from?

Like Daz or Fairy, just clothes biological powder it has an enzyme that for some reason seems to deoderise and deter repeat urination, it sounds weird but it does work, also for cats.

aahhh! why was I thinking of some complex chemical?!

Will surely try that, thank you.
