DD planted some radishes (french breakfast) last week in a tray some of that growing salad came in (with fresh compost of course) they have come up lovely Grin

Am a bit concerned now, that I haven't thought it through, I'm thinking it might not be deep enough. Can I lift them out in one go and just put them in a deeper tray?

Also do I need to thin them out, they are currently about 2-3 cm.

God I'm rubbish at this sort of stuff Blush

I would tend to thin a bit and wouldn't replant them now. You can plant seeds again now just straight into the garden if you have one , if not a deeper tray would do . The growing salad trays are quite deep though so fingers crossed

they should be an inch apart, depth as long as about 3 inches I think you will be fine.
