I have a 3 metre long wall adjacent to a small sunny patio outside my kitchen.I would love to grow some climbers including Wisteria and a rose. Can anyone recommend any other suggestions?.We have very light sandy soil on rock with only a few inches of soil on top.Do i go for a specific variety of rose?.

Thank-you Madam. Its a really good idea to try and increase the soil depth.I'll see whether its possible.Solanum sounds lovely ,hadn't thought of that, as does honeysuckle.Clematis i might plant on the other side of the patio doors [although i never seem to have much luck with clematis sadly].Are there any varieties of these plants that are easy to grow and disease resistant?.
