Hi there - I'm looking for some summer-flowering bulbs to plant, hopefully to come up year after year, must not be poisonous as we have a toddler who eats everything.

I am a gardening novice, and any help would be much appreciated,

TIA!

Alliums are lovely. They are from the onion family and have pretty pompom flowers. I have Allium Globemaster planted and it's flowering beautifully at present - probably a bit early due to the sunny spring. I did a bit of a Google search and only found toxicity problems with Allium bulbs and dogs/cats, but you should do some more research.
