Winter flowering pansies:

they are still looking ok and I have been dead-heading them (like a good girl).

They have been glorious but have started to look a bit straggly.

Will they last through the summer or should I plant something else there? I have some petunias that I've grown from seed (I'm so proud!)

What do I do with the pansies? Are they finished or can I keep them going somehow?

Mine are on their way out alas.
They sometimes come back if winter's not too frosty, but last years were gone for good here.

I have some in my hanging basket - but they are just about done too

So do cut them back to their roots and plant other things around them?

They are in a rectangular planter on the wall under my front window.

Are you me?

Except for the petunia seed it Grin well done there.

Mine have been amazing too - 1st time for pansies for me and I've been well pleased with them - in a hanging basket but beginning to go now - I was wondering if mine would last the summer.... I'm thinking of replacing mine with trailing fuscias.
