North London Frog Emergency! Help!

Hello,

We're doing work on our garden and in what appears to have been an old (dry!) pond, have disturbed more than 10 frogs and a newt. What can I do with them? We've already hacked up their habitat so need to move them.

We live in N10. Does anyone know of a good place I could re-home them? Either a quiet pond or if someone had a garden with a water feature???

We live near a duck pond, but I'm sure I read somewhere that they're often too dirty for frogs.

Any help appreciated!

Are you near Queens Wood N10? There's a nature reserve there ..according to google.
Although I think the duck pond would be fine, I've newts and frogs in my garden pond ..quite dirty at the mo and they're absolutely fineSmile As long as they're near a source of water all should be well, good luck!

Oh Queens Wood! Perfect. Not far from there at all. There's a little dell at the bottom of the wood that's watery in the winter and a bit drier in the summer. Forgot all about it. Thanks!
