Why do I always think I will remember?

aaargh, I have seedlings coming up and I've not got the foggiest what they are. I'm limited in space so i bundle them together in grow modules and always think I will remember which bits have which plants in with just the occasional label to designate a new section.

So, I am fairly sure I planted 4 aubergine, 4 cucumber and tomato in one tray. I have 3 plants emerging that look like courgettes and the rest look like tomatoes! So are my courgette looking plants aubergines or cucumber? and are the other aubergine/cucumbers disguised as tomatoes?

oh dear.

oh thank goodness, google images has saved the day (sort of) the 3 mystery ones are cucumber. Aubergine and tomato seedlings look remarkably similar but are small enough at the moment that I can leave them to grow a bit more.

I haven't planted any veg this year! I have just planted a Jostaberry bush though which I am excited about (for fruiting next year at the earliest most likely!)

Thats sounds interesting! not heard of one of those before.
I googled my aubergine variety and discovered that it has 6 seeds minimum not 4 so I think they are now identified. hooray!
