going to try and grow some potatoes!

hi guys
i have just bought some kerr pink potaotes and some bags for growing spuds but what i what to know is when can i plant them. and what do i do. do i just plant a few in a bag or plant the lot between the two bags. i want to do it with my toddler and get her into gardening and growing food but im so green myself!!!!!

I've done it not in bags but in a couple of old bins

Used to grow them as a child....planted stuff off my plate, anything spouting in vegetable rack, problably even planted crisps....everything grew.....I promise you, you can't go wrong!
