So who's mowed their lawn for the first time this year during this lovely Spring weekend?

We are dreading doing ours. We have had a regular badger visitor during the winter and its wrecked, massive holes everywhere. Once its mown I fear it will be even more obvious. Sad

Probably not those of us living in Scotland!

I was going to, but then decided to let the kids play in the garden instead - the longish grass made for great mini treasure hunts! (though did not like the very large dead frog they found and brought me!)

I mowed my roof for the first time this year on Saturday as it was so lovely and warm.

You mowed your roof AintMissBeehiving??

AintMissBeehiving · 13/03/2011 21:51

yy - have a grass roof, more like a meadow planting really. Was thinking of getting a goat for getting the grass down but lawn mower works fine Smile

fivegomadinthelambingshed · 13/03/2011 21:52

We did it last week.

Mspontipine · 13/03/2011 22:44

Should we not be worried about frosts?

ZuzuBailey · 14/03/2011 20:45

Ooh, would love to see pictures of your grass roof - it sounds very cosy MissBeehiving. The only one I know of is this one and it's more mossy than grassy.
