I planted tomato and radish seeds in a seed tray with lid last week. i planted 2 varieties of tomatoes and loads of radishes!
(tomato seeds each had 6-8 seeds in the packet whereas radish seeds had approx 1000seeds in the packet!!!

every radidh seed is growing....but no tomatoes Confused

I think they probably just take longer to germinate. Do you have the tomatoes at the right temperature? Radiishes will germinate at lower temperatures than tomatoes. The seed packet will tell you what the best temperature is.

radishes grow very quickly, and toms need abit more warmth, are they just on a windowsil or in a heated propagator?

Mine aren't showing yet either but my Broccoli is - how cool is that?? (Novice gardener here) Blush

I sowed my toms last month and they took about 10 days to germinate. As the others say, make sure they are warm and have lots of light. If no seedlings in another 2 weeks, buy a new packet as you may have duff seeds.

Think I've been playing too much Farmville - things grow dead quick on there!!! lol

Thank you! I'm also a novice gardener so it could well be my fault!
They are all in a sow box with lid (is this a propagator?) and are in my hall by the window where all the sunlight comes from!
Will keep you updated!

sow more radishes in a different tray with no lid, they'll take no time to germinate.
