How to keep the cats off my pot plants?

That's it really. I've recently started trying to grow vegetables in pots in my back yard (just planted my first seeds today- very excited!). Problem is every time I've ever planted anything before the local cats have mistaken it for a litter tray.

Any top tips for keeping them away?

I believe orange peel or anything citrus as they hate the smell..

Try prickly prunings! Holly or rose prunings placed on the surface of the soil will discourage cats and allow the seedlings to grow unhampered. They also look better than netting tied over the top of the tubs which is another option. Best of luck!
