Eucalyptus tree - what can I do with wood?

Having ours removed and wondered if there's anything nice that I can do with bits of the tree trunk (there's a lot of it!).

Are they big enough to sculpt into basic seats?

Failing that - cut them smaller, bag them up and sell them as fire wood.

That's what I was thinking - maybe 2 stools for my dds as a nice reminder of this tree.

Gardener said they do not make good fire wood as they tend to spit.

We have a eucalyptus that we need to take down and DP says the wood makes very good axe handles.

Something to do with it being close grained I think.

How fab! Once sculpted you can sand them and then get one of these to decorate them and personalise them. If you're not artistic i'm sure you could find some stencils - i'm very Envy - they'll look great.
