Does a gizmo exist to join sheets of windowpane glass together to make cloches?

If so, what is it called? If not, can you design it for me?

Yes, you want cloche clips. Worth shopping around as the price seems to vary a lot. There are either tent cloche clips or barn cloche clips depending on the shape you want.

You used to be able to get metal clips but these days there only seem to be plastic ones available.

I would be inclined to use toughened glass rather than window glass myself, just from the safety viewpoint.

I have been using the window frames with the wood on successfully for a couple of years but now the wood has rotted away I need to fix them with some sort of clip.
