There are two in my garden that have dug under the rabbit hutch and made their nest. Obv I want them gone before they mate and we end up with mice in the house.

Dp has just moved the hutch to a different part of the garden and dug out the nest - the mice ran under the fence to next door (we both have rabbits and the mice are enjoying the food supply apparently). We dont have a cat, and Im just hoping someone here might have some advice? Ive googled also but no joy as yet.

I'm not sure what you can do about mice outside without risking other wildlife pets. I had them in the house last year and I have a phobia about them. Moved into a hotel, then to my mum's and then moved my mine into mine. 18 months later, she's still here and the mice have thankfully gone!

We have mice in the garden (as far as I can tell) but only once have they come into the house. I saw baby mice near the compost heap last summer, but they were being picked off by the neighbour's cat. Nature red in tooth and claw but I guess the cat was just doing what comes naturally.

If you have lots of cats nearby, I'd say leave well alone unless you have clear evidence that they are coming inside. I suspect ours are so comfy living off what drops out of the bird feeders that they don't feel the need!
