Bareroot apples delivered in the snow...

...the ground is still completely frozen, and my cordon apple trees were delivered over a week ago. They're currently in a pot of damp compost in the conservatory which is cold but frost free. Can anyone reassure me that they will survive this? I hope it thaws this weekend so I can get them in the ground.

They will be fine. Don't worry! No rush to get them in, ground's like concrete :)

Thanks for your message, I have been fretting about the little things. I've been planning a mini orchard for ages and it would be such a (expensive!) shame if they died before they even got planted!
