The bulbs got mixed up.....

Ahem, I got the bulbs I lifted mixed up, so no idea what's what, oh dear. So, the teeny tinies are obviously crocus, I've put them in, some in the ground and some in a pot, tick. And then there are the daffodils, tulips and irises..... I have no idea what is what, unlikely but....can anyone tell the difference and if so how??

Also some of them have spawned babies (unlike their owner but that's another story) will they come up this year?

Aaaaaaaaaagh, was so organised too and then they all got tipped in together.

Tulips tend to be rounder, medium sized and have a darker outer skin than daffs.
Miniature iris bulbs rather than rhizomes tend to be very small and more pointy than crocus.
babies may not bloom next year, but if looked after, will the year after.
How exciting for you!

I'll try and be excited about the big pile of mystery Wink I guess if all else fails I can do my best at sorting, than you for the advice, and if I end up with lunatic variety pots of bulbs I can always to a bit of shifting around once they're up, I hope. Thank you again for the advice, I'm off to look at them again.
