Wallflowers

I've just bought 20 bare root plants - but we're having the house painted and the decorator is working from the bed where I want to plant them. I've stuck them in two pots of compost, just as they are, in bunches. Will they be OK for a while (I'll water them obviously!) and if so, for how long?
TIA

If you take them out of the bunches and just plant as usual but closer together in your pots, they will be OK for as long as you like to leave them.

Oh thanks, this has reminded me - I keep forgetting to plant wallflowers at the right time and I just love the scent!
