Star Jasmine, hardy enough for London ?

Hoping it would eventually cover our ugly fence, but now realised it is not a full hardy. Will it cope with a London winter?

I grew it in Nottingham so you should be okay. If you get a really cold snap you could cover it with some fleece. A very pretty plant but maybe a hardy jasmine would do the job just as well.

I thought this was a baby name thread when I saw it in Active Convos .

No idea about plants and that like...sorry.
