Does anyone have a masonry barbeque?

And if so, do you find it easy to use. Does it cook the food well? Would love one for our garden but wouldn't like to spend loads only to discover a little old kettle barbeque works better!

We did have one of the big masonry types but found that a portable one was a lot more, well, portable! The masonry one started off looking nice but cracked and stained with smoke. We kept repainting it but at the end of the season it always looked the same.

Hmm, that is food for thought, Suzie! We are not the best DIYers in the world either. Sounds like another thing we would be nagging each other about!
