My mint and Basil seem to grow twice their size every day. They look smell and taste great. But how long do they keep giong for? Will they just die off at end of summer?

Mint is a perennial. Plant it in a shady damp corner and it will go on forever. It may also take over your garden as it spreads.

Basil is an annual. It will die after it has flowered. It does not like cold either so cannot survive outside in England all year round.
