How much to feel a tree ?

I am fed up with living in gloom. The trees are gonna get it.

Any ideas of likely cost to remove a mature silver birch and an elder ?

Tree hugging is generally free.

Tim Robbins on Desert Island Discs last weekend was suggesting more than just feeling his favourite tree...

Hey, enough people coming round for a hug and it might fall over?

We had a mature silver birch felled (which involved some feeling of it I'm sure) for £250 by our local landscape gardener/tree surgeon. We kept the wood as we have an open fire, I'm not sure if the cost would increase if you need them to remove to wood.
