Major landscaping work - help needed!

Not the most exciting post I've ever written but really need some help!!!!

We have a small sloped garden and are having it completely levelled & landscaped. We love the design but I'm worried that the patio area is too small. The design is a 4m diameter circular patio. The lawn is 4m x 2m crescent next to the patio (but on a lower level). I really wanted enough space for 4-6 people to sit comfortably.

Also, will my rectangular table (that was expensive and I want to keep) look silly on a circular patio?. We don't have to have circles but the design is really original and would have to start from scratch otherwise.

Thanks!

Why not just measure out the patio in your home / drive / parents' home etc, and see how lare it feels?

I think a rectangular table on a round patio could look a bit odd, a round table would look better.
Could you have a curved corner patio instead which keeps the feel of a circle but is more generous space-wise? Circles are lovely but you do loose quite a bit of space round the edges...
