Cambridge college for Engg, help

Have seen other threads for Maths, so wondering if anyone could offer similar tips on Engg. DD had a residential but that was more of Natural Sciences, we don’t know anyone doing Engg there, so any help would be much appreciated. DD just don’t want to apply Women’s only, as in selective girls grammar now, and I agree with that as I had girls on school and uni.

Has she had a chance to visit some? Things to consider.

How many students do they usually take for your subject?
How many students in general?
How far away from town/the department?
Accommodation for all four years?
Interview format - in person or online?
Entry requirements - I think for engineering Peterhouse sometimes ask for STEP (they are very near the department!)

Don't overthink it, a reasonable number of people end up at colleges which they didn't pick through the winter or summer pool and most people are happy with the college they end up at.

You would be far more likely to get more answers on the HE board. That's where all those with recent relevant experience tend to hangout.
