Where to get a sixth form suit for a girl who is 6 ft 2 in tall?

Just that really, dd is 6ft 2in tall, size 8-10 on bottom, 6-8 on top. Black or navy. Trousers or skirt fine, preferably would get both for weather changes.

ideally it would be machine washable

Have been looking online and the fashions for blazers seem to be boxy with sleeves scrunched up and worn with jeans, so not exactly what the sixth form would be after!

I'm 5ft 10 and find a lot of tall clothes in Next these days. Or Boden. Long Tall Sally tends to be hideous and expensive.

Does it have to be a matching suit or are they fine with trousers + a blazer combo? I know you've mentioned jeans + blazer but I wear pants, a plain t shirt and blazer and it works well for work. The Abercrombie Sloane trousers do come in a tall length (I'm a 36in inner leg) and they fit well.

M and S seem to sell trousers much longer than they used to. I'm 5'7" and used to buy long, but now have to buy regular length.

What kind of 6th form insists on such a formal dress code? It isn't representative of modern office wear.

You could look at a work wear brand like Brook Taverner, they are mostly washable and in a big range of mix and match sizes.

Next, online.

At 5'11 I find their Tall range way too long, and there's an Extra Tall beyond that!

we don’t get anything from long tall sally anymore unfortunately . After they were sold, the quality dropped. Both me and dd are still wearing long tall sally stuff from years ago before the sale.

Just incase you may not have heard of it there is a group on Facebook called Tallternative retail who can be handy in sharing clothing and shoe finds for taller ladies
