A level choices

Son is waiting GCSE results. He is on target to get 8/9 in business and geography. Not keen on maths or science. He has no idea what he wants to study long term. He is leaning towards A level geography and business studies. He wants to do psychology ( he has not studied it at GCSE but likes the sound of it and was impressed with the department at the sixth form open evening). He is also now pondering economics. What are peoples thoughts? Thank you.

@NotDonna You are absolutely right. It’s difficult to know what to do. My DD1 had a similar blip so I really do understand. Didn’t get to her first choice uni. However they do tend to sort themselves out in adulthood. She will be fine. However it’s very difficult to know what the third A level should be when advice is poor.

My DS got the results he needed for geography, psychology and business. He is very happy with his choices so hoping they lead somewhere! Thank you for all your input.
