Any help for parents with older students?

My daughter has enrolled for her dream course in criminology. She is 20 and I have 2 other kids at home aged 19 and 12. My partner and I earn £26,000.00 per year between us and no longer get any financial help towards our daughter. Any financial help she has tried to apply for has been rejected and with two ther kids at home, older son in higher education also I cannot fathom how my husband and I can support a full household and pay for travel and study expenses. We will do all we can for our daughter to attend higher education and hopefully qualify in her chosen field but unsure how it is financially viable to do so.

She would have to get a part time job and a student loan. She may qualify for some bursaries.

She would get the maximum student loan, which is a start. A part time job will help with other expenses.

Can't she get a job? I worked about 20 hours a week through uni.

She will get the full loan.

She could work saturdays in retail to top this up

Saturday jobs in retail aren't as plentiful as they were when I was that age. Working 20 hours a week is a lot for a content heavy course.

Some unis offer bursaries if your parents earn less than a certain amount. I think Liverpool is one.

Just have to find a way.
There is no help to parents on low income
But she will get nearly 10k maintenance loan
She can decide on cheapef acvomodation maybe room share and or work in student bar or outsidd uni
She could look at schemes where you lodgewith elderly person cheaply in return for 8 hours work assisting them per week.she can work in vacations. Etc
She can make it work
