cad related courses/jobs?

my 17 yr old ds is very bright but struggling with severe anxiety. hes dropped an A level so is doing maths and 3D design but im not sure he will complete maths. hes learning computer aided design outside of A levels. does anyone have any ideas of courses/apprenticeships that he could move onto? thanks

Interior design. Used a lot. Look for a post 16 apprenticeship in design. With minimal A levels its limiting him. But look towards where his strengths lie.

Most big engineering companies have CAD technicians. They don't normally have degrees and often come by an apprentice route. Pick a field that interests him and reseach that! E.g. aeronautics, civil, maritime, renewables, railways, space, automotive, food production
