Does anyone on here know if there is a delay for btec results being updated on ucas or something. My dd got higher than she needed for her place at uni but nothing showing on the system. Do we need to do anything or will it just take time.

What do you mean by "nothing showing on the system"? Do you mean her choice is still showing as conditional?

Viciouslybashed · 19/08/2022 11:11

Yep still as conditional.

Was she resitting GCSE Maths or English? If so her place will be dependent on those results.

What was the full condition of her offer?

There's a post on this thread last night saying Pearson haven't got all the BTEC results onto UCAS www.mumsnet.com/talk/higher_education/4614355-has-there-been-an-issue-with-the-ocr-board-today?reply=119345031

It sounds like there have been major fuck-ups with vocational qualifications that aren't being reported.

Pearson have tweeted about it here twitter.com/pearsonbtec/status/1560357631709134851?s=21&t=e4FdiJKjVm8Ikf-X_0niXg

They say "If you’d like us to contact the university to let them know, we’ll be pleased to do so."

She wasnt waiting on gcse results or anything so we know it is not that. She has contacted the uni and they needed her to send her results in so it is as noblegiraffe says, the results not received by her uni. Her friends doing same course those who did alevels place confirmed yesterday am, those that did btec not had any confirmation. Hopefully will be resolved quickly now she has sent her results in.

Looking at that tweet i suppose we should feel relieved that she actually got her results in the first place! Cant imagine the stress those young people are under.
