A level choices

Confirming A level choices mine definitely wants to do Psychology, Biology and is toying between putting down sociology or media studies. At uni she's hoping to do something psychology based. Looking at course content and both exams are essay writing and analytical. She's veering towards media studies as she's interested in how media affects peoples mindsets and the creative element. I know historically it's been looked as a 'soft option' but wondering if it still is today?

@NeedleNoodle3

Could she read up on Sociology and see if she thinks she’ll like it? I did it for O and A level and then went to university to study it. It’s quite theoretical at A level and I found it harder than the first year of my Sociology degree.
Yes, she read the course content for Sociology and Media Studies and looked at past papers. We've also looked at various psychology uni courses, which vary between just wanting particular grades in any subjects to psychology and a science at A level. She has decided to go for Media Studies as the 3rd option to go with psychology and biology. It looks enjoyable and definitely has a lot of overlap with psychology in terms of how it affects and persuades people. Looking at the world this last 2 years with covid and now Ukraine I can see how it does :( Thanks for everyone's responses Smile
