Thanks for starting - what will you be eating today?

I am very proud of myself as I have navigated this on no alcohol.
Can have a drink on Thursday and I shall!

DD got CCD. The best she was hoping for was BCD. Not going to uni, so didn't have everything pinned on her results. I'm just really proud of how she has coped over the last 18 months, as she found online learning really tough. Now to go and hopefully pass her driving test!!

An A and two A stars plus an A star in her epq

Very proud of her, she gave up all hobbies and socialising etc to get As.

Dc1 didn't get very good results at A level although ended up going to uni and is now doing brilliantly, so hard to make a fuss of dd2 and not make Dd1 feel as though she wasn't "as good"

DS a bit disheartened at his results. He got BBB and still got on the university course he wanted, but he feels robbed as his predicted grades were A*AB. His teachers were telling everyone their percentages right up to their last mini exam, and based on last years grades, should have got those.

A lot of his friends didn't get the grades they were predicted to get from what the teachers said, some even not getting university places, so he knows how lucky he has been.

DD2 got ABB which exceeded what she needed for first choice uni. I am so proud, she has struggled with fibromyalgia and anxiety, got appendicitis 6 weeks before assessment was due to start and still got better than predicted. She worked incredibly hard to catch up after each setback and never gave up.

Remembering you and your DD from GCSE thread, that's amazing and well done her.

Thank you so much Jumper. We have now found out that her uni offer was made unconditional 5 days before results day Hmm but it's still sweet that she made the grade herself.
