IT skills course for someone aged 70+

My father has some basic IT skills, (uses email, can create a Word doc) but in general is very confused by technology and how to use it.

I have been trying to help him do some basic things with Facebook via Zoom, but it has proven to be very difficult, with me ending up frustrated by not being able to explain things to him clearly enough, and I think with him feeling that he is just useless around technology.

Are there any online courses that would be suitable for an older person to go on to learn basic IT and social media skills from scratch?

I have already looked myself online but things seem either too basic or quite a bit too advanced (Future Learn).....

Any recommendations would be great?

Many thanks.

Try U3A, I haven't checked specific courses, but they cover his age group and moved many courses on-line.
