My son has been refused a place at college due to his poor attendance because of depression and anxiety last year. It was severe depression with a suicide attempt. He's in a much better place this year due to antidepressants but didn't come across well at the interview, he had been looking forward to going back and redoing the year and this has set him back massively, I have spoken to the admissions team and said I will appeal it. My question is how? I also struggle massively with situations like this and I don't want to do it wrong.

What kind of College?

I have been in similar issues with schools and my daughter. I have presented medical evidence and then done some creative copying in and mentioned the Equalities Act and it has done the trick.
